Facilitated by award-winning Nashville songwriters Christa Wells & Nicole Witt, the Artist And retreat experience is different from most songwriting retreats in that it offers a unique combination of both professional and personal growth opportunity. You will be challenged as an artist...and you will be seen and nourished as a whole human.
Nicole and Christa will guide relevant conversations and exercises to spark creativity and freedom of expression, as well as expanding your understanding of your options as a vocational songwriter.

Earlybird Bonuses:
Our first three applicants will be invited to share a song to open the Old Grace Concert!
Our first four applicants will join a cowrite with Christa Wells or Nicole Witt during the retreat.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?
In order to ensure a cohesive group and the best possible collaborative experience for all
our writers, we use a simple application process. This particular retreat is a great fit for intermediate level and up songwriters. No performance experience is required, but some instrumental skill
(guitar, piano or voice) is helpful.
WHEN

WHERE
Relax in one of our two beautiful historic homes in Sheffield/Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Meals, gatherings, cowrites and song shares will take place in the larger home. Weather permitting, we'll make excellent use of the porches, too!
Guests may choose to share a room with another songwriter (each songwriter will cover their own Retreat ticket cost) or with a non-participating friend ($185 guest fee, all meals included).
MEALS
All meals will be nutritious and delicious and are included in your Room Cost. If you have a food allergy, please make us aware as soon as possible, so the menu can be planned according to your needs.

Total investment for the experience is Retreat Ticket + Room Cost.
Retreat tickets are: $888 Earlybird through May 9 / $999 after May 9

Our two houses are located approximately one block apart. Main gatherings and meals are hosted in 910 house.

A deposit of $100 will be required with application. Following confirmation of your spot, you may pay the balance due up front or in two equal installments (June 1 & July 15)
*Deposit will be applied to your balance if application is accepted, or refunded. Deposit is non-refundable once application has been accepted.
